Free. No account. No watermark.
Free electronic signature. Sign a PDF right here.
Open a PDF, draw or type your signature, add the date, and download it. It all happens in your browser. Your file never leaves this device.
How do you sign a PDF for free?
EsigIt's free PDF signer signs a PDF in your browser in 3 steps: open the file, place your signature, initials, date or text, and download the signed copy. No account, no watermark.
Nothing is uploaded. Your browser reads the file and writes the signed one. I never see it, and neither does anyone else.
Why is EsigIt's PDF signer free?
EsigIt's PDF signer is free because it costs nothing to run. The PDF never leaves your browser, so there's no server work, no storage and no email to pay for. I'd rather give that away than charge for it.
When do you need EsigIt's $1.99 send-for-signature instead?
You need EsigIt's $1.99 send-for-signature when someone else has to sign. This tool signs for you, on your device. It can't send a contract to your client, check that the person signing is who you think, or prove when they signed.
Send-for-signature does that for $1.99 a document, charged only when everyone has signed. Each signer confirms a 6-digit code we email them. Every step is logged in a hash-chained audit trail, and the signed PDF ends with a certificate page.
